MRV & DCS

In the “MRV & DCS” section in Fleet status, you will be able to manage your plans and reports required by the EU MRV, UK MRV and IMO DCS regulations.

You will find the MRV/DCS section from the “Vessel Services”-menu or from the Decarbonization-tile on the Fleet status frontpage

 

 

 The following main functions will support your planning, reporting and verification-activities for MRV and DCS:

 

 

  Verification of the annual emission/consumption report for EU MRV, UK MRV or IMO DCS, requires the following main steps to be completed for each vessel:

1.   Create and submit monitoring plan using the plan generator

2.   Upload log abstracts (e.g. noon-reports, voyage- and bunkers-data) for the full reporting period. This can be done using the “Manage data”-function or OVD data-transfer interface (contact us for more information about this option for automating the data transfer).
Best practice is to start transfer data early in the reporting period and monitor the quality check results. This allows for time to make corrections and finish the period reporting in time.

3.   Review data quality checks and update log abstracts (submitted data) as necessary

4.   Review, confirm and submit annual report(s)

a.       Note: For EU MRV, it is required that the responsible company updates the Thetis MRV (separate EU/EMSA reporting system) with emission report information.
